Lots of right-wing commentators were vehemently insisting the whole Kimmel suspension was purely a business decision by ABC, not at all an act of cowardice in the face of the president whining about his bad coverage and the head of the FCC being enough of a toady to act on that hint, there were no threats by anyone with political power… well, Kimmel’s return was clearly a business decision, and that’s equally clearly a threat in Krasnov’s bile that I don’t think even his cultists can spin any other way. And as Kimmel noted, Trump should be less obsessed with other people’s ratings when his own presidential approval numbers stink so much…
