So someone on Threads posted this picture with the question “What’s the name of this band?”…
The name of the band is, in fact, Timcast, because Tim Pool is so unimaginative that he named it after his own Youtube channel, and what I’ve heard of their music sounds exactly like it would in fact be made by a band with someone as awful as him fronting it. I mean, DAMN. There’s some inspiration in there. I’m particularly fond of Rage Against the Vaccines, cos one of Tim’s guest members has been former Offspring drummer Pete Parada, who was ejected from that band in 2021 after refusing a Covid vaccine before going on tour. I have no idea what Pete’s like as a drummer (I suspect pretty good, cos he was in that band for 14 years), but I am sure his position on vaccines was what actually got him the job with Grim Fool…
