Goddamn but Easter really brought out the chuds this year, didn’t it? This is just one of, oh I don’t know, probably thousands of pisses and moans about Easter and Trans Day of Visibility coinciding yesterday. March 31 has been TDOV since 2009, and by virtue of how the moveable feast thing works it coincides with Easter Sunday every 11 years (at least it has until now; for some reason I don’t understand it now won’t happen again until 2086, whereupon it resumes the 11 year cycle), but the dickheads were out in force this time in particular because Dark Brandon gave it official recognition:

Whereupon the shit hit the fan and the shitheads hit Twitter to scream about the work of Satan and that sort of crap. The lunatics and ghouls were kept busy screaming in the last few days, too, what with the horror of that bridge in Baltimore which was apparently the fault of the Democrats and not, you know, the GIANT FUCKING BOAT that hit it:

To say nothing of the sheer number of people calling Israel “satanic” for its behaviour towards Gaza (I mean, what Israel is doing is frankly evil but “satanic” is… unhelpful at best). I suppose being able to call Biden that made a nice change for them. Imagine what these idiots would’ve been like if Obama had given it official recognition when it happened in 2013 when he was President…

Obviously I have no issues with the whole TDOV thing myself, I just wonder if officially recognising it this year when it fell on Easter Sunday was a good idea, what with the cult being worked up enough as it is this year because of the election, it was bound to produce this sort of overreaction. By the same token, of course, this isn’t the first time Biden’s officially acknowledged TDOV, and if he didn’t do it this year just because it coincided with Easter Sunday he’d have copped flak for that too (though I don’t suppose it would’ve been anywhere near as extreme). Damned if you do, etc.

Anyway, wait another five years until Easter Sunday falls on April 1st. If there’s still a USA by that time and the Republicans haven’t managed to destroy it utterly, it’s going to be FUN watching the dickheads attack whoever the president is in 2029 (if they’re a Democrat, anyway) for letting April Fool’s Day and Easter coincide…
