Where the shadows run from themselves

Back to the 60s (well, the period 1966-70) again this week. Much like I went for fairly common and well-known 80s acts in the previous mix, I kind of did the same this time round, only going back a decade or so, obviously. I’ve already got next week’s mix done, it’s another 60s mix, and will feature some more obtuse and out of the way bands and song choices. In the meantime, however, here’s this week’s selections:

    1. The Beatles, Rain
    2. Love, 7 and 7 Is
    3. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Stone Free
    4. The Byrds, Have You Seen Her Face
    5. The Rolling Stones, We Love You
    6. Moby Grape, Omaha
    7. The Who, I Can See for Miles
    8. Cream, White Room
    9. The Kinks, Picture Book
    10. The Doors, Touch Me
    11. Small Faces, Tin Soldier
    12. The Velvet Underground, What Goes On
    13. Neil Young, I’ve Been Waiting for You
    14. Crosby Stills & Nash, Long Time Gone
    15. Led Zeppelin, Out on the Tiles
    16. Santana, Hope You’re Feeling Better
    17. Fleetwood Mac, The Green Manalishi
